Am I a bad wife? What should I do?

I have been with my husband since August of 2009. I work full time and I also go to the University of Phoenix. We both dropped out of school but later went back and graduated. We were awesome for each other. We both received scholarships to the university which would cover us for 4 years full time. I managed to pass all of my classes with A's so far but he has come close to failing one class and he already failed another. We are both on our 3rd set of classes, and they are fairly easy. My husband does not work more than 10 hours a week and does nothing but sit around the house watching tv and waste time on the internet. He is really controlling and obsessive. I even tried couples counseling which did not work because he wanted me to lie to the counselor. I have got us to where we are today. I pay for the car, the apartment, everything. He cant do anything right. He cant even shower on a regular basis anymore. He makes the apartment so dirty and disgusting, and I am the one who has to pick it up. Am I crazy for wanting a legal separation? What should I do? He is not changing at all. I don't want to be his mommy forever. I just don't know what to do anymore. Please Help. Please don't be rude.
