Sole trader back injury?

Ok I'll try to keep this as short as possible. On the 22nd of January this year I was working in Darwin for a kids photography company I was hired as a sole trader worker on the 22nd of January it was pack down day that means we pack up everything put it in the cupboards and the poser and put it all in the trailer now every single wheel on those cupboards and poser was broken they wiegh at least 70kgs now we had to move them and put them in the trailer. I seriously injured my back after seeing the doctor and a scan I can not work for at least the next 6 months I can't lift my left leg and may need surgery :( I'm in constant pain it's awful! The company owner knew all of the wheels were broken and ordered new wheels she said she would have them fixed before Saturday in 2 weeks time which was packsown day and she didn't they were sitting there all week! She just didn't care :( am I entitle to any rights or compinsation as she hired me as a sole trader? I can't work and I'm really injured? What can I do?
