What is this tapping noise? Lifter, flexplate, oil, or something else?
Im no guru, but it could be your tappets. perhaps put in a set of ear plugs - get the noise there and pop yr head under the hood - u should have more accurate hearing as to where the sounds coming from... on the older tappet engines they tended to go out after a while, could just be the extra clearance rattling about - . i think they're very easy to set if u have the experience - im sure u know half a dozen ppl who can - more chevy 350's in the states that coke cans in the world i think :)

The gears are probably stripped or damaged in some other way. Make sure the battery is good, but probably U will have to use the lens manually. Usually repair is very expensive if available at all.

Could I get a Job with Goldman Sachs?
Where are you getting your "facts" from...? And prop trading probably won't be a thing at the big banks by the time you get out of college (and I'm pretty sure GS shut down their prop trading a few months ago). If you go to Wharton you can probably land an i-banking or S&T gig at Goldman or some other Wall St bank, but you will have to get your GPA up to get into Wharton. Why is it just between Wharton and Rutgers? There are plenty of great schools back east that place well on Wall St. You said no links so I'll refrain from posting a link to the list of Wall St target schools, but if you Google "Finance target school" you should be able to find a decent list of schools that are a great stepping stone to no life and too much money :-) Good luck!

So, I recently filed bankruptcy and it was recently discharged. I thought I try for a car since I've gotten more hours at work and my current car is falling apart. My friend suggested that I go through boss's car company and try to buy a car. She knew that my credit would be horrible and I knew what to expect for an APR rate. I told her to go through my credit union, a few minutes later, I get an email saying that I was denied. But, an hour later....I was told by my friend that I was approved for a 10k loan. To make the long story short, I didn't get the car but, my friend told me not to mention this loan when I go to other dealerships. Why would she say that and why would it matter?

Best lotion/moisturizer for EXTREMELY dry skin?
I have super duper extremely dry skin on my arms and legs due to winter and my KP (keratosis pilaris) which result in flaking, red skin with bumps from the KP that bleed when even lightly scratched. My skin isn't really all that sore, but it just is so dry that I don't know what to do. So far, I've tried using Bath and Body Works body lotion with shea butter, Trader Joe's extra dry formula lotion, and a few just extra strength store brand products. What will help cure my extremely dry skin?

My father passed away 3 yrs this may. he was my rock, my biggest fan. He was always there for us and we weren't close with our mom. I ended up caring {still am} for my mother since my fathers death and if it wasn't for promising to care for her to my dad on his death bed she be alone now. Well, anyway I had a lot of issues and anger , sadness, depression., etc. I had made an appt with a psych. doc. which my family doc. recommended after my loss and I am doing better every day, month, year3 not as much pain as year1 &2. Well for the wire it is pretty uncomfortable to walk on wire all the time. Put down fleece, cardboard, etc. Make sure its nothing harmful! & thats okay, she getting used to her new home and they like to bury and play and sleep a lot! Biting the bars, it could be dangerous but it helps their teeth sometimes my hamster does it too sometimes (but hes 2!) Anyways, I think you should be fine once you put something down so she doesn't have to walk on wire. For the ramp you can wrap whatever you use around it! Good luck :)))

They are probably giving credit in the form of an overdraft, even if you don't want it. It's probably standard with that type of account, and justifies them doing a check on you.

What could be making the car knock and slowly accelerate?
I have a 93 Chevy Corsica I think V6 engine. It only has 120,000 miles on it and I just replaced the radiator. I was driving it at about 80mph the other day and then when I slowed down to stop at a light it started knocking and shaking really bad. It had a slight knocking before this but I didn't think anything of it because its an old car. It also was taking a really long time to accelerate. I explained what was happening to my dad and he said it was prob the spark plugs. Is this what it sounds like and if so how much would it typically cost to get them replaced at an auto body shop like Firestone or Good Year? I just don't want to get ripped off if I go up there.

How do salaried stock traders (day traders) benefit society?
For every person taking a position on a stock, there must be someone exiting that position. Either way, someone loses. I mean if I buy a stock from someone today at $40 and it goes up to $50 by tomorrow, I've made $10 while the other person lost the opportunity to make $10. Same thing goes for anything from options (writing a call vs. buying a call--someone necessarily loses from this contract, only the clearing house/broker gains regardless) or CDSs or any other security or derivative. Sooo if you're a successful trader, sure you make money for yourself, but for most of the money you earn, someone will lose most of that amount or lose the opportunity to earn it. So how do traders benefit society? Although I'm studying to work in finance myself, I believe that these traders would do more good shoveling snow or building something, as controversial as this is lol. Is there something wrong with my logic? Thx

My dream is to become a proprietary trader for Goldman Sachs on Wall Street in NYC. I've been told they pay their employees an average of $600,000 per year and $170,000-$300,000 the first year, this is one reason why I specifically want to work for this firm. I'm only in my freshman year of high school, and I had a rough quarter (3.3 GPA) because I missed a lot of school due to illness and being out of state. My first quarter was a 3.9 though, and I'm guessing I'll be able to maintain a 3.8-4.0 throughout. My options for college are either Wharton (In a very good scenario) or Rutgers (New Brunswick, NJ) Business School. I do Knowledge Bowl and I plan to have internships at banks (possibly a Goldman Sachs) in the future. I've heard they hire around 25 Proprietary traders each year, so could I get in with a degree from Wharton or Rutgers?

2002 avalanche AC problem?
My 2002 avalanche with auto climate control is running the AC clutch all the time. With the heater in the off position the clutch will cycle. When I unplug the heater control switches it stops running. Is it in the controls or could it be a different problem ?

I need some advice I posted a truck for sale on craigslist a lady and her husband went to my parents house to test drive it and backed it into a tree. I had not driven the vehicle in over a year it needed some work done, i turned in the tags and took it off my insurance. I decided a year later to repair it and sell it, this lady backed into a tree in my parents yard she admitted fault and file a claim with her auto insurance, they came out and did an estimate they determined the damaged to be $696 but only paid me $196 because she had a $500 deductible they said I had to work something out with her on the deductible at first she said she was going to pay it when she got her tax return now she said if I take it to a shop to get it fixed she will pay the shop the $500, I have reposted the vehicle for $800 less than the original amount and am having to tell everyone who inquires about it what happened this is holding up my sale I want her to pay the $500 deductible because now I can't sel the truck for as much and had alot of interested in it until this happens. What should I do? Should I take her to court? Do I have a good chance of winning?

I am a professional trader for federal tax purposes. This is my first time doing taxes with the trader status. I think I have the federal stuff down, but now I'm on to my NJ state taxes. I have gains/losses from 1256 contracts on federal form 6781. Where do I included these on my NJ state taxes? On the NJ Schedule B, I am attaching the same trade list as my federal Schedule D. Do I just lump the 1256 contracts into Schedule B's Line 3 (Other Net Gains)? Is this where I would report forex gains/losses also? Thanks very much

I got bored and wanted to mess with one of those nerf guns. The six shooter revolver kind. I bought a motor (the size of a flash light battery with a little stick hanging out that is the axel so you know what I'm talking about.) The idea is to tie a string to the axel and have it spin. connect the other end to the plunger in the dart gun,(it's set up like SPRING/ PLUNGER WITH STRING/ OTHER PLUNGER/ EXIT.) and pull it back to fire automatically. however the Motor doesn't have enough power to pull it back. my uncle told me that the motor was to fast and I need to use the speed and turn it into torque. He said that this could be accomplished with pulleys. So would rigging up a pulley system to pull back the spring work or is there some other way? It's a revolver nerf gun so I'm going for semi auto fire while keeping it small enough to walk around with. I saw another semi auto mod but that used a tank of compressed air witch Is why thought of using motors instead.

Could a regular auto mechanic work on a marine engine?
I have a 1989 Thundercraft Bowrider. The engine is either a 3.4 or 4.3 L... It is basically a Chevrolet auto engine, according to any mechanic that has ever looked at it. It has 188hp, if that matters. I have a very good friend who is an excellent auto mechanic that works on my Jeep and my truck. He can fix anything auto... fully certified, etc. etc.. I would love if he could work on my boat, but if it is a bad idea, I won't ask him. The reason I am asking this is that my experience with marine mechanics has been very bad. Also, I spent last winter and part of this winter overseas, so it was not winterized. My brother claims he drained all of the water out of the hull and The climate here dips below freezing, in the low thirties, about 50% of the time at night during the winter (northern South Carolina). HELP! I want my boat working!

I know the giant bag of Purina Cat Chow is not very nutritious, and the SPCA said that Purina One, which they gave me, isn't either. How much do I have to spend to get good cat food? I also give him 1/3 of a Friskies can twice a day. My leo is losing weight and almost refuses to eat. She has completely stopped eating crickets. She is Very lethargic, which is unusual for her. She shed last week so i wouldn't count on that being the problem. It seems as if shes too slow to catch the crickets, which is alarming because shes always been pretty fast. As a last ditch effort i tried too feed her a waxworm and she ate one, but now its been too days and all she has done since is lick some calcium dust of a waxworm. I'm not extremely worried because i know there has too be a solution. i ordered some phoenix worms cuz i cant just be giving her waxworms. ahhhhhhh what the hell.

I've been told they pay their employees an average of $600,000 per year and $170,000-$300,000 the first year, this is one reason why I specifically want to work for this firm. I'm only in my freshman year of high school, and I had a rough quarter (3.3 GPA) because I missed a lot of school due to illness and being out of state. My first quarter was a 3.9 though, and I'm guessing I'll be able to maintain a 3.8-4.0 throughout. My options for college are either Wharton (In a very good scenario) or Rutgers (New Brunswick, NJ) Business School. I do Knowledge Bowl and I plan to have internships at banks (possibly a Goldman Sachs) in the future. I've heard they hire around 25 Proprietary traders each year, so could I get in with a degree from Wharton or Rutgers?

Should i commit myself to an institution?
Lets see, I'm tired of feeling guilty for not liking my life. Got a roof over my head, food in my belly, a working body and all that good crap. My parents didn't die of AIDS leaving me to dig through garbage to feed my siblings. My belly ain't swollen with flies around my head and my father didn't molest me. Terrible things have not happened to me. I'm just a loser. By definition. I'm turning 24 and I live with my mother, no job, no friends, no boyfriend, no car. Was homeschooled the last 2 years of high school and can't get over not going to prom and all that **** plus now i suck with people. Can't look them in the eye for long especially guys. I'm attractive but who gives a crap. My biggest problem is my addictive personality. I'm addicted to pot, booze and food. I mean addicted. Went down to 103 lbs a year ago. Was so disciplined back then and now i binge constantly and i literally wake up thinking about food. I think about food after i eat it before i eat it. While i'm eating it I think of what I'll eat later. I'm at a normal weight. In fact to look at me you'd never guess I had a binge eating problem or any problem with food at all i look so damn normal. Even toned. So i joined a gym. Big whoop. Still a binger. Wouldn't have to work out so hard if i weren't a binger. Then there's the booze. 4 to 5 beers 3 to four days a week whenever mommy's not home. Then it's almost like having my own place. Almost. I drink and watch movies that i wish I'd directed or movies I wish were my life. adventures. dangers. horrors. life's not like the movies. It's dull, auto pilot, same crap over and over. Honking cars and eyes toward clocks and fast food gigs. "May i take your order?" bullshit. Been unemployed for 7 months, don't have another job yet but i already hate the next one. WHat job can a girl with pot riddled piss really get anyway? I'm Edward Norton in Fight Club praying for a damn plane crash. Anything. I want nature and trees and hiking and rock climbing and excitement. I want to be damn near eaten by a shark when I'm surfing. I want to get lost in the grand canyon. I want to have hot dirty dominating sex with a different guy every week. I want food to be the last thing on my mind. I want sitting in front of the tube with my six pack to be the last thing i think about doing. But all I see is dead end jobs, fad diets, more binges and sugar addictions, never being satisfied with how I look, feeling guilty for not being satisfied with a body that's fully capable of many things that handicapped ppl only dream of doing. I cannot seem to be greatful for anything. I see my mother's face in a coffin. I see me in a world without my mother. I will have no one. My brother has already made his own family. I'll never do those things no matter how much i say i will i just won't. it won't happen. nothing will ever ******* happen. I wish i could kill myself. I can't make myself take the damn zoloft because it takes too long to work and alcohol reaches the brain in 1 minute. Pot relaxes me after a couple of hits. why is it that their precious "happy pills" take so damn long to work. Weeks? **** it I can be ****** up in half an hour. THen i binge and go to sleep. wake up with a stomache ache that lasts half the day until I'm ready to do it all over again. Insanity. Stay there with him, yes you may click train him but i find it easier to do it without that. Okay you need to tame him, FAST! First start by putting him on your finger, wait a second and if he stays there without biting click it and give him a treat. Repeat it several times. When he basically got that down ( can take days for good results ) try playing with him. Giving him new toys and more. Also you should try to pet him, agian if he lets you click and give him a treat, repeat it, He will get tame and he wont be mad and will let you hold him. Ok I'll try to keep this as short as possible. The company owner knew all of the wheels were broken and ordered new wheels she said she would have them fixed before Saturday in 2 weeks time which was packsown day and she didn't they were sitting there all week! I have been with my husband since August of 2009. I work full time and I also go to the University of Phoenix. We both dropped out of school but later went back and graduated. How do I become a Proprietary Trader?
How high/low is the demand for this career in Manhattan (Wall Street) and what is the average salary in Manhattan, this is one of my serious interests for a career, I know I want to do something in business. You need to know bus speed and socket type for this motherboard, It looks like it is an AM2 socket, so the only processor available on newegg is the AMD sempron at 2.2 GHz for $29.99. I'm not sure about the bus speed of the motherboard but since it is only .4 Ghz faster than what you have I imagine that it will work just fine. If you are upgrading the ram keep in mind this processor requires ECC memory.

Items needed for the Carbon Fiber mold process?
There are a bunch of ways to make the mold, the easiest without destroying the original is to use latex and plaster of paris. Paint the original part with about 5 coats of latex, let each one set. Then remove from the part, If it is too flexible, it needs to be put back on the mother part and poured with plaster to make it stiff, a couple of popsickle sticks in there won't hurt, Once it is rigid, you can remove it from the mother part and lay up your resin and carbon cloth, let set, trim and pull it out of the mold. It is a complex part, remove it from the plaster back, then peel off the latex, you should have a nice looking part in your hand that needs trimming. There are sites on line that explain all this stuff, it doesn't have to relate to carbon fiber at all, more like mold making, casting, brass, bronze, etc.
