Which auto insurance company is most affordable?

I need to renew my auto insurance policy and am trying to shop around for the best deal. I currently have Encompass, but it is a bit pricey and I always see the commercials from different companies which claim to be cheaper than the others. Is there any specific answer as to which one provides the most affordable coverage? Or is there some sort of service online which compares multiple companies' rates?
